Armstrong's welcome a new team member

We welcomed our new Technician Ross Macauley into the team in January 2021.  He has settled into the team well and has even taken on board the Greggs and Costa diet.  A massive well done to Ross on passing his P600 & P400 courses held with OXYL8.  Great achievements!

We welcome Abby Cooper to the team

Abby joined us in March 2021 as a Technician.  She has a MSc in wildlife conservation and a BSC Hons in Zoology and has travelled and worked in some beautiful and interesting countries around the world.   Although Abby only joined us in March, it feels like she has been part of the team for much longer, she is such as good fit!  She is working closely with our Occupational Hygiene Consultant Jess Pearson and so far so good, they make a cracking team.  Good luck with your continued training Abby.  We love the hair net!

Armstrong Environmental support Durham City Food Bank

We are really proud that our team is supporting Durham City Rugby Club with it's contribution to Durham City Foodbank run by the Durham Christian Partnership.  It's been an especially tough year for many and this year the partnership have provided 20,000 food parcels.

Turnaround Support Sultanate of Oman

Managing Director Mark Armstrong travelled to Oman on the south-eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. The purpose of the trip was to provide industrial hygiene support during a plant turnaround project for a gas processing facility. If you would like to learn more about how we can assist you with this type of project, please do not hesitate to contact us.

BOHS Award

A huge congratulations to our team member Jessica who has been awarded the BOHS Early Career Occupational Hygienist Award.  Excellent achievement.  Well done Jess

New Covid Testing Method

Another Successful day carrying out Covid-19 workplace air sampling on a busy client site. Great to see that in a busy site environment, the effort the Safety and Hygiene teams have put in to ensure social distancing has paid off with negative results from both air and surface sampling.
