Since joining the team in 2024, Will has supported clients across a wide range of LEV projects, combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

 

  1. How long have you worked at Armstrong Environmental?

“I’ve worked at Armstrong for just under 16 months.”

 

  1. Can you describe your role within the team?

 “As an Associate Consultant, I work closely with clients to deliver environmental services and provide support throughout their projects. I also assist the wider team with quality assurance, reporting and project delivery when needed.”

 

  1. What do you enjoy most about working for Armstrong Environmental?

“No two days are the same – one day I’m writing reports in the office, the next I’m visiting large-scale construction sites helping to shape the future.”

 

  1. What’s the biggest challenge in your role?

“Every site is different, so you’ll often come across situations you haven’t encountered before. That can be challenging, but we’re fortunate at Armstrong to have such a wealth of experience across the team. There’s always someone willing to help, and every new challenge adds another valuable experience to your skillset.” 

 

  1. What’s been your favourite place to visit through work?

“I was fortunate enough to be able to visit Land’s End down in Cornwall whilst carrying out a large-scale project involving environmental monitoring. I was also blessed with nice weather while down there, and the views were absolutely amazing.”

 

  1. If you could have dinner with three people, past or present, who would they be?

My great great grandfather – He fought in WW1 and is who I’m named after.

King Henry V – one of England’s greatest monarchs.

  1. What three words would your colleagues use to describe you?

Funny, hard-working, supportive.

 

  1. What advice would you give someone starting out in the industry?

Ensure you keep well read about all the legislation and documentation that applies to the industry, having a good handle on it will help massively especially when it comes to relaying details and information to clients, both in person on site and through reports.
