Full Time 40 hours plus overtime as required to meet business demands


We are looking for a technician to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting our occupational hygiene consultants carrying out various assessments for clients. The role will include the preparation and calibration of equipment, interpreting data and compiling results and reports for clients. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will be responsible for discussing results with both colleagues and clients.You will receive relevant training both in-house and externally, attending relevant British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) courses. The role is based at our County Durham office however travel is required throughout the UK, including overnight stays where required, so a level of flexibility is needed in the role.

A science-based degree is preferred, however applications from candidates with A-levels in mathematics and/or a science will be considered.

·       Workplace exposure monitoring

·       Local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing

·       Noise at work assessments

·       Asbestos management surveys and re-inspection surveys

·       Radon risk assessments

·       Breathing air quality testing
