Tim is a valued member of the team and has over 30 years experience in Asbestos Management. Experience includes major project management for clients including those with multiple property portfolios; preparation of tenders and technical specifications for large asbestos removal projects. Tim's skillset also includes the provision and delivery of asbestos training courses worldwide.
Tim holds a variety of asbestos qualifications including the Certificate of Competence in Asbestos and Other Fibres.
Sunny Cyprus
This year our regional Manager, Peter Surtees, has been providing support to a client in Cyprus. The project included two visits to the island commissioning a local exhaust ventilation (LEV) system which is used to control diesel exhaust emissions from a vehicle. The approach we take to commissioning a system like this is across a two phased approach. Phase one being a thorough examination and test checking the system complies with relevant design criteria, HSG 258 values and COSHH Regulations. Phase two includes proving effective control using careful occupational hygiene techniques to assess airborn levels of hazardous substances and proving the sytem is capable of reducing operator exposures to hazardous substances.
