Charlie joined the team in 2022 and quickly gained experience across multiple sectors undertaking LEV testing, noise assessments and air monitoring.Charlie's knowledge of guidance and regulations is expansive which enables him to offer his clients recommendations which are both factual and informative.He is currently working through multiple BOHS modules and now supports new technicians entering the business.
Sunny Cyprus
This year our regional Manager, Peter Surtees, has been providing support to a client in Cyprus. The project included two visits to the island commissioning a local exhaust ventilation (LEV) system which is used to control diesel exhaust emissions from a vehicle. The approach we take to commissioning a system like this is across a two phased approach. Phase one being a thorough examination and test checking the system complies with relevant design criteria, HSG 258 values and COSHH Regulations. Phase two includes proving effective control using careful occupational hygiene techniques to assess airborn levels of hazardous substances and proving the sytem is capable of reducing operator exposures to hazardous substances.
